Or is the natural consequence of living with their new "do" punishment enough? Or is that only punishment to their mother? (In the picture it may look like I'm squeezing the heck out of Eliza's neck, but rest assured that I didn't actually do that. I only thought seriously about it.)
Today, for the second time in a week, I found locks of hair in the sink. Last time it was brown; today it was blond. Hopefully tomorrow it won't be a few of Lily's blond locks, I mean, quarter inch strands. She's challenged enough in the hair department. Today I also caught Eliza smearing a massive dose of body cream (thick lotion) on Lily's head. I hope she wasn't prepping it for a trim or shave or artwork session like she gave our couch cushion.
I guess I should be impressed at Eliza's ability to give herself a razor-like trim with a blunt pair of preschooler scissors. Instead I'm feeling nervous that she will grow up to be a tattoo artist or Sweeney Todd.

i bet you'll be really mad when lily starts cutting her precious locks. (or lock?)
Ah me...but then maybe they've discovered their true talent...hair artist! --Mom
Oh no!! that is awful, self cutting hair should only happen in college or desperate times late at night when you have a big event the next day and need to look 10 lbs thinner and you think if you just took a little off the sides...
Look at the bright side...at least they have hair to cut!
Wow, there's a doozy for ya...she's lucky there was no blood drawn. And way to control your parental emotions, by not wringing her neck. She's too sweet for that anyway!
Eliza!!! What a naughty!! How funny to think of her putting shaving cream on Lily's head and getting rid of those precious "quarter inch strands", ha!! And we don't get a picture of the couch cushion art? I hope it wasn't with shaving cream. You need to hide your markers. And scissors. And creams.
Oh no! Every kid has to do that at least once, right?
Maybe you should try giving Eliza hair-growth cream to rub on Lily's head and see what happens!
I haven't grown out of cutting my own hair, I cut bangs yesterday and it may have been a mistake. Hopefully Eliza will grow up to be a little smarter than me! P.S. Your house sounds like a carnival, they should make a reality tv show about you and your hilarious girls! I would be your #1 fan!
I don't know, I kind of like the butchered look... :)
At first I thought the picture might be showing ringworm as it has a similar hair thinning appearance. So I guess you can be glad Liza doesn't have that. Besides, cut her some slack. At least she didn't cut the front of her bangs...
