LOL- so funny! That'll teach you to sleep:-) I like their toes- have you painted their toenails recently? That's what it looks like- just on the wrong side.
The rainbow toes are the best. Little Lily has that deer-in-the-headlights look, they all do for that matter. Mom naps and the joint goes to pieces...it's a trying thing this motherhood. We're either walking zombies with a fairly clean-under control life or somewhat rested disasters! Classic childhood moment though! Loved it.
What a masterpiece. She has some serious determination that little artist of yours. What I want to know is how did you react? Was it a ha ha funny, or a screaming "what the. . . ?" Do you have the book "I ain't gonna paint no more"? Because if you don't you surely need it now.
Oh, wow! I'm trying to think of what I would say to that. That they are smiling and you are taking pictures means that what I am thinking... is not what you did. Good job, nice restraint! The sweet little dears.
I LOVE it! Lilly is so cute and looks like she enjoyed her first introduction to being a real life coloring book. Thank goodness it looks like Eliza stayed in the lines/body instead of on the furniture!!

Oh, those sneaky, sneaky girls. This will be a great story to tell when they're older.
Oh my gosh!!! Lily is such a good sport. Look at her just lying there all cute and round! Rainbow fingers nonetheless. What naughties.

That Eliza's an artist! And Lily's so patient! --Mom

Classic. I love it! I hope you kissed those rainbow toes. :)
I shouldn't be laughing, but ... I am!
Oh my.
sometimes the biggest disasters make the best pictures and stories!
Love it!
Those cute little miceys! I love them!
You have the funniest daughters EVER! I miss you all so much!

HAHAHAHAHA! at least sage didn't think to draw a picture of grandpa on lily's belly or anything... :)
When they become world-famous artists, you'll be glad you have documentation of their first masterpiece.
Does the prolific number of comments tell you anything? Who needs museums when this many people enjoy "alternative art"?
I have to admit - she does look pretty cool with all the war paint on.
Oh my gosh. I would D-I-E! Did it wash off easily?

Ok- looked again. They weren't smiling. Maybe these were Mug shots. At least they aren't crying!
That's so funny. I can't believe Lily didn't start crying!
Janel, that is priceless! Hope Lily didn't get to suck on too many of those markers!
