Calling all chefs

Does anyone have a recipe for a nice aromatic dinner entree? Something with a strong aroma that could, hypothetically speaking, cover up the smell of an unauthorized, un-New-Years-Resolution-ish batch of afternoon chocolate chip cookies?

And if anyone asks, it was the baby that made me do it. Hypothetically speaking, that is.

And, also, I was just trying to rotate my food storage. I don't know if you know, but the shelf life on chocolate chips is surprisingly short. Especially around here.

Shelf-lifes are over-rated and so are new years resolutions. Life is all about chocolate and lots of it. Isn't there some famous saying "life is like a box of chocolates..."? See if there's a quote and it's famous then it's ok. (and so is justification and denial) Can I come over for afore-mentioned dinner? but only if there's chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
k bye

Try anything fishy. Salmon would be especially potent, I'm sure!
(And I wish I had a baby to blame my chocolate bingeing on. Good thing no one knows exactly how many cookies I ate last night-- except me!)

I had to invoke the "no walking around the house with a blanket over your head" rule today. It always makes me think of you.

If you want to increase the shelf life of your chocolate chips, you could just buy milk instead of dark. And I hear that overcooked beanbags are pretty aromatic.

That Lily, she always makes you do such bad things.

Girl, everyone knows the most important thing a mother does is to "rotate her food storage". There should be no guilt in maintaining your home! I think I learned that in Provident Living class taught by your sister.

I think your dilemma is just called true provident living. I know Lily agrees.

Burning dinner (no matter what it is) will always overpower any smell. And then, when you pull out the chocolate chip cookies, you'll look like you saved the day.

So who ate more, you or Lily?

Maybe you could fuse the two smells with a big batch of mole or something? Just use chocolate wherever possible.

My friend Rachelle's blog is listed on the side bar of my blog. It's listed as Rachelle and Trey Orsak. The ties were made a while ago. I want to say October-ish. How have you guys been doing. I've always heard that three kids is the hardest. I've got two and feel like that's about all I can handle right now :) Hopefully you are doing well. Looking at your blog you have typical mom stuff. You just know how to word it so funny and interesting. And yes. I guess your kids are a little more "creative" than average. But what do I know? :)
