Sage recently finished reading two books about children of divorced parents that had to choose which parent they would live with, and she told us about it yesterday.
This afternoon, while I was feeding Christian, Eliza informed me, “If I had to choose a parent to live with, I would choose you.”
Before she could continue, I interjected, “But just think about how nice daddy is—he plays the piano for you to sing along with, and watches Youtube videos of Yo Gabba Gabba with you...”
Then it was Eliza’s turn to interrupt me. “No, I’d pick you, because Christian would go with you, because you have milk to drink him and Daddy doesn’t.”
Oh.
At least now I know who the competition is.

OH my goodness Eliza is far to grown up! And your baby BOY! (i have to say it like that every single time apparently) He's fits in so perfectly adorableness and all. And this title was a bit concerning to me-you really know how to draw me in! Kids are so funny and practical, i love the way they think!
You'd better just hope that Eliza doesn't ever have to decide between you and Christian! You know who would win! :)
HA!! The milk's the real reason for her love!! Christian is getting big and starting to look more like a Williams and less like a newborn. And that IS really nice of Mark to watch videos of Yo Gabba Gabba.
I was just thinking about you yesterday when I was in the dentist chair...I was remembering when you were nursing Lilly and I was laughing so hard to myself trying to figure out how you did it. Your baby is getting so big and handsome.
L.O.V.E that girl! She is so entertaining :)
Frankly, I think it's pretty big of you to talk up Mark - I think I'd take the compliment and run with it :)
What kind of books is Sage reading, anyway? Just kidding...
ha! I love her reasoning. I always hated it when people told me my baby smiling at me because I was their food supply...but maybe it's really not too far off! And Mark should earn a reward for watching Yo Gabba Gabba..-shudder-...
nothing like kids to avoid the sugar coating.
