3:30am A catheter for my bladder
7:30am Fifteen (or fifty) more minutes of sleep
7:31am The day I don’t have to wear compression hose (repeat every hour)
8:00am That naptime were almost here (instead of in 4 ½ hours)
2:30pm To not drool when I nap
4:00pm For Mark to be home
5:30pm For Eliza to eat her food without a fight or a bribe
6:00pm For a magic dishwasher that loaded itself while I sat on the couch
8:00pm For kids who liked to snuggle all day long, and not just to stall at bedtime (even though it always gets me!)
9:30pm To be in the middle of a great book
9:31pm To have a great blog entry ready to post
9:32pm Cookies’n’Cream ice cream (BYU Creamery’s)
10:30pm To have three more hours before my bedtime
A few hotel pictures:
Sage and Eliza's "beds" on the floor. Mark and I each took a queen bed to ourselves. So nice!
Sage and Eliza riding on the luggage rack
Pool time with Daddy
(Did I mention that I hate wearing compression hose? Yes, I believe I did. Sorry--it just pops out.)

Thanks again for saying things in pleasant ways that make me us laugh for days! We're thinking the girls probably had a good time on the trip despite any stress on the adults:) The pictures seem to say they were very happy!
You know it's bad when you're wishing for a catheter! And I'd like to know why there isn't a picture of your traveling buddy, religious habit and all? I feel let down!! She must have the same aversion to cameras as all women do. And let me just say I'm so glad I'm not the only Mom who lives for nap-time on an all-too-frequent basis, thanks for making me laugh first thing in the morning-I'd better go get some cereal for the kids and make Eden stop mauling the cat now, so it begins...
I am LOVING Sage's expressions in these pictures. HA HA!!!! I am right there with you on living for nap time. That's true, it is pretty bad if you are wishing for a catheter!
I love that you each took a queen-sized bed! But where did Mark's boss sleep? I'm pretty sure she didn't agree to be relegated to the floor with the girls . . .
nice, if i had a genie, one of my 3 wishes would be a catheter too! :) sage is getting to be quite the poser!
I'm totally a nap-drooler (which is better than my brother, who is an any-time-he's-concentrating-hard drooler). I join you in that wish (and several others, too).
This is good prep for Israel...Sage and Eliza's pose, I mean. See you soon! :) --Mom
Well, here I am admiring your blogspot! I really, really, really think you are a great writer. Save all of these fabulous quips and publish them for profit! Did I mention I thought you were a great writer? I'd bring you some BYU C&C ice cream just to prove it if I lived closer! -- your third younger sister's husband's mom (explanation necessary so as not to be confused thinking that your little niece wrote this) :) Cindy
I remember wishing I had a catheter when I was pregnant because I was running to the bathroom every 5 minutes and trying to teach a class of 5th graders at the same time. Let's just say, the teacher next door did a lot of babysitting for me. I love your list--all of those things are so true!
Your girls are so pretty! I wish I didn't drool either!! Haaa-haa! You make me laugh. I love your posts!

I wish those things for you too. I love, love, love snuggly kids (mine are both sick right now and are extra snuggly because of it).
For what it's worth, your posts are always brilliant, even if it does take preparation. We miss you guys!
miss you janage
I'm glad this post wasn't about diaper genies :) Even though that catheter talk took us close... You are hilarious. I hope all of your wild (and not so wild) dreams come true.
And I must also add, your girls really are gorgeous!
