What do Tigris, Meower Power, Cheeto and Pippi have in common?
They’re all in the running for the name of our new kitten.

I would explain all about my longtime professed dislike of cats, and Mark's last email address (MyHeroScranz[dead cat's name]@yahoo.com), and Sage and Eliza's paranoia around animals, and that naughty billboard run by the Humane Society (with 12 foot tall pictures of lonely, orphaned animals), but our little orange furball is trying to climb up the back screen door (with the intent of unhooking the screen at the top and coming inside).

P.S. Don't you think Pippi is the best name for a rambunctious cat who LOVES to walk in between people's legs and climb up screen doors and win over three formerly animal-paranoid children? I've been totally outvoted.

First, that is the cutest ever picture of Sage reading with the cat. And HA HA H AHA!! I can't ever get over myheroscranz!! and I don't have to guess who came up with Meower Power. Maybe the same person who sang about the little Dogger's chin.
Hey first off congrats on baby número 4. Very exciting for all of you, once you get past morning sickness. Yeah about the pet thing I am still digging my heels on that one. Abigail looks at dogs and cats on the Internet all the time picking one out and naming it and yeah then mean mom comes and shatters her dreams that Sophie will NOT be coming to our house!
You are SO brave! That will never happen at our house. Ever. (you're such a nicer mom/wife than me) And, Ella has that same shirt that Sage is wearing, but in purple! :)

I vote for Pippi! Maybe you just need to start reading Pippi Longstocking to the girls to get them to understand.
BTW, I understand your pain with "Meower power" and "Scranz." If we had a cat, Spencer would probably want to name it "Kitty-ie." (Good thing I'm allergic to cats so it won't ever happen!) :)
