Help an Elf

This Christmas elf is needing a little help with a gift idea.

In Mark's family, there is a Christmas gift rotation each year, and we have Mark's dad this year. We want to do something special with the eulogy that Mark wrote for his mom's funeral in February, but I can't think of anything in specific. It's about 2 1/2 pages, so it would be too small to bind (right?), and it would be too long to hang in a frame.

Does anyone have any good ideas?

See some real Christmas elves (Sage and Eliza) dancing it up here and check out Mr. Mark Scrooge here. (Although after Tuesday, when he finishes his last final exam EVER, I'm sure we'll see him do a happy elf dance, at the very least!)

When I went to IKEA in Chicago I picked up a black frame with openings for three pictures. You could type up/print the eulogy on nice paper and put it in the frame with a little picture of his mom. I think that would look great.

i can't see scrooge or the dancing elves:( am I doing something wrong with elfyourself?

I think that the eulogy is a great idea; I wonder if Dad is just trying to forget?

What might be a fun way to have it bound is to use an online photo thing like kodakgallery or shutterfly and make a photo book where you can type it and mix it with some pictures. We did a memory book thing for my aunt when my uncle died and were able to use family pictures as well as just some nice nature scenes and it turned out really nice. Just a thought. You'll have to let us know what you do- good luck!
I LOVE that elfyourself- I laugh so hard everytime. And that scrouge is way to smiley! :)

Yeah, I was going to say, depending on the structure of the eulogy, if you put like a paragraph per page, with an appropriate picture on the other side, it can be really nice. There are one or two talks from General Authorities that have been printed and bound that way that I think are really nice.

Sounds like you're getting some good ideas. About the dancing elves...Dad thought I should send it to all your cousins that have children so they could do it too. So funny! --Mom
