My mom used to remind us "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." That's why I haven't blogged about Lily's potty training yet. Or, in other words, the battle To Poop or Not to Poop in One's Undies. (Scoreboard: Lily: 18, Mom: 0)
Here is a picture of our shower, or as we not-so-affectionately call it, The Underwear Tree.

Oh, I don't miss those days. Sometimes I would have to throw out the undies because I couldn't bring myself to clean another pair. You must have a stronger stomach than me.
Finding a good reward/bribe is the only thing I can suggest. Good luck.
I love that...the "underwear tree." At least you can still keep your humor about it . . . so far. :)
Oh, I hate potty training. Which is why my 3 year old is still happily in diapers. :) But, please Janel, buy the cheapest pack of panties at the store and THROW THE POOPY ONES AWAY! So not worth the time, energy and smell to wash them! At least not to me- but you're a better (and more frugal) Mommy than me! :) I just buy boring cheap ones and keep a pack of their favorites as a bribe for when they're ready to keep them clean. Good luck. . . I'm hopping back on that "potty train" with my Dallin here soon. . . maybe.
Janel, I am in the same boat! James has taken 3 months already to potty train, and there is no end in sight! The battle of Poop is ongoing at our house... I've finally resorted to giving him a brand new car/train/something that moves on wheels everytime he poops in the potty. Whatever works at this point!
That sounds like my potty training adventure with Scout. It's been potty training season going on four months now at our house and we've finally made some progress--Scout pooped on the potty today! I've been wanting to shout it from the rooftops today. Shouting it from your blog with have to suffice, though!
The underwear tree! HA!!! That naughty girl. And that nice mommy.
Oh, you are a brave woman - I still haven't attempted to get Annie on the potty train yet...
And that underwear tree is hilarious!
HAHAHAHA!! Micah told me this yesterday, "Brooke likes my stinky." It seems like potty training has taken over our lives!! Where's the post about the flushing incident?
That is hilarious! Our bathroom looked like that for a year straight. I never thought to take a picture...
I'm frightened of what's to come...
And this is your 3rd time! Just once of such "trees" in our shower was enough to wear me out! Sure miss you all!
You have got to be kidding! That's hilarious.
