Two down

Yey for our second successful birthday party in a week. (First one.)

Today's theme was Under the Sea.

The kids ignored the water obstacle course I set up and just slip'n'slided.

Homemade octopus pinata=big fat pain.  But it was cute, until it dropped off its string before actually being broken by that noodle.  (We wised up and used a noodle instead of a frying pan.)

You've got to have an M+M machine, regardless of the theme.
Thanks to Becca--photographer and party manager. : )

Wow, wow, what a pinata! And I need to rent that M&M machine! Maybe then Jacob will stop wanting the $20 Lightning McQueen pinata he sees every time we go to the store. Did you spray paint it gold?

Happy Birtday to your girls! We celebrated Henry's birthday recently, but, I have to say, I was not as ambitious as you... no homemade pinatas here. Just a store-bought cake and some streamers... okay, I'm lying. Just the cake.

All I can say is that I want that golden octopus pinata. You are so creative. My children are going to be totally let down if they ever see your blog because you are so good at doing such cutie birthday things. And ha about the noodle. No wonder the string broke before the pinata.
