What is it about a big snow that gives me the irresistible desire every single year to post excessive amounts of pictures of my kids in the winter wonderland? It's like trying to ignore an itch (which I have a lot of practice doing from my years in marching band)...an itch I successfully resisted at Halloween costume time and during our double birthday week in the summer (for lack of profound or witty things to caption my deluge of pictures with).
But, apparently a little bout of insomnia and the sentimentality of assembling the Christmas tree with our kids during last night's
blizzard in a Hallmark-like moment has weakened my resolve to be a "purist" blogger. Whatever that is.
Without further ado, or disclaimers, may I present, the snow lovers.

All she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth and lots more snow and to not be made to wear the darling Christmas coat that Mom loves and she hates |

I know it's blurry, but Lily's face is priceless. As is the fact that they are sitting in snow on the trampoline. Which, apparently, is a lot cooler than the snow on the ground. |

Pure bliss: getting pulled in a sled around the yard by daddy |

Sage's second round outside (note new, dry coat); she was throwing snow at the window at us |

Bring on the winter wonderland pics. I love them. Haven't you got any more?
Looks like the girls had fun. I'm glad my kids aren't enjoying snow...yet. It could be here anytime.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Cute pictures! My kids were so excited when they saw the snow too .. it's fun to see them playing :)
So super cute. That coat of Sage's makes me think of this one particular outfit Mom loved of mine that I hated passionately. HA! I bet your yard really is a great winter wonderland. Love Lily's funny face and Eliza's huge gloves and Sage's mischief face with the armful of snow.
yaya for the peektures
Always, ALWAYS like seeing pictures of your kids and family! And tell Sage I quite like her christmas coat too.
So fun! Your girls are getting so big!
So fun, but too much snow for my warm blood. The weather is just getting perfect here! Love the pics!
Snow is beautiful...I have to admit tho that I don't miss the cold. It was a blizzard driving home after Thanksgiving. (AWESOME to see you guys by the way!)
I can't believe all that snow so fun for the kiddos
You have such a great blog! Love reading it and seeing pictures of the kids :) Merry Christmas!
I think that Sage could be on Chronicles of Narnia, and my first thought of Lily was definitely an elf.
