The girl who didn't cry wolf

Today I heard Eliza calling "Mommy, help!"

This is what I found.

And to serve her right, I left her there while I went for the camera.

Once she had been extracted and sterilized she chuckled and said, "That was a good one."

I can't stop laughing- that is definitely not crying wolf! What was she doing?! Oh how I wish I had seen that sight.

Thanks for the good laugh. I hope Eliza has learned not to do whatever it is that got her in that situation in the first place.
I'm still giggling.

That WAS a good one. I'm glad she recognizes the memorable moments when they come.

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time.

Kids have such a different perspective.

Your reaction brings back memories of my parents' reaction during moments of childhood trauma.

What the heck was she trying to do??? That might even beat Richie getting both feet stuck in the toilet at the same time. They must be related . . .

When I saw the picture, I thought you were going to say she kept saying she had to throw up, but really didn't. How in the world did she get stuck like that!

Oh man, if I had a nickel for every time I've been there... My big head doesn't slide out too easy these days, though.

She must have been watching Disney prior to her little incident. Gazing into the water....and singing this little tune: "I'm wishing, I'm wishing, for the one I love - to find me, to find me, today, today!" hehehehe

A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Save the picture, Eliza may need it someday for a Freshman Engligh assignment or something. Do you know what else is worth a thousand words, a mother's camera. How many times do we grab a camera in lieu of droning on with a (thousand word) lecture? :)
